The Chevrolet Performance LS427/570 Crate Engine is a high-performance 7.0L / 427ci LS7-based V8 producing 570 HP and 540 lb-ft of torque. Its wet-sump oiling system simplifies installation compared with the dry-sump LS7, making it suitable for high-performance builds, restorations and custom LS swaps.

The LS427/570 is an upgraded LS7-based 7.0L V8 developed by Chevrolet Performance for high-performance and competition applications. It combines LS7 architecture with a higher-lift hydraulic roller camshaft and a wet-sump oiling system.
The engine produces 570 HP at 6,200 RPM and 540 lb-ft of torque at 4,800 RPM. The wet-sump design eliminates the separate oil tank and external oil lines required by the production-based dry-sump LS7 configuration.
The LS427/570 includes performance-focused components such as CNC-ported cylinder heads, titanium intake valves, high-rate valve springs, LS7-style intake components and a dedicated high-performance camshaft. Chevrolet Performance also specifies an F-body wet-sump oil pan and wet-sump oil pump.

Chevrolet Performance specifies the LS427 Engine Controller P/N 19420000 for this engine, sold separately. The engine is also shipped with exhaust manifolds and with a flexplate/flywheel installed.
